John was very responsive and helped arrange an inspection within a couple of days notice. The report was very detailed as well. Definitely recommend.
To be clear, John was professional at every stage. However I feel its important for people reading these reviews to know that he offers cash incentives for 5 star reviews.With regard to the report itself, it was fine. A lot of the language I felt was carefully worded. Lots of "this should be checked by a qualified professional" kind of thing. While I get that he's not trade qualified and can't speak in detail on certain things, flagging that a loose door hinge should be checked by a qualified carpenter is probably a bit dramatic. For mine that sort of thing somewhat undermines the rest of the report. Boy who cried wolf, and all that.On balance I'm not dissatisfied with the report but I doubt I'd use John again.
John inspected a property I'm in the process of buying, which looks quite new and in good condition to me. John was able to find quite a few things I didn't notice and will need to address - thank goodness! His report was detailed with photos, and was delivered on the same day as the inspection. The report clearly explained what the inspection did and did not cover and made recommendations as to what other experts could be consulted for specific things this particular inspection did not or could not cover. He also phoned me after his inspection to give me a high level overview of key findings so I had the information I needed right away. The process of engaging with John was easy; he responds promptly. Inspection was done within 3 days of first contact and the timing suited me. Thank you John!
